WCC Aeronautical and Technological College (WCC ATC) takes another significant step toward fortifying its partnerships with industry and government by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). This new collaboration establishes WCC ATC as an Affiliated Reserve Unit under the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC).
This partnership underscores WCC ATC’s commitment to the holistic development of its personnel. As part of this initiative, WCC ATC personnel will undergo military orientation training and may be activated to provide auxiliary services when required by national needs. In return, the AFP will offer pre-military training, enlistment, and commissioning opportunities, as well as logistical and operational support during national emergencies.
The MOA signing ceremony was attended by esteemed officials from both institutions, including: Dr. Raymond Patrick V. Guico, President of WCC ATC; Major General Pablo E. Rustria Jr. PAF, Commander, AFRC; Colonel Marc Anthony A. Yambing PAF, Commanding Officer, 2nd Air Reserve Center and Dr. Roger A. Martinez Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs, WCC ATC
This collaboration sets the stage for an exciting chapter of growth and contribution, empowering WCC ATC to provide quality education and the opportunity to serve and support the nation’s defense initiatives.
